What does this directory do?
If you've ever thought about monetizing your newsletter, this is the place to put up your profile. This is the place to buy, sell, and swap newsletter ads. You can also earn money by adding cost-per-click (CPC) ads made available to you in your account.
What kind of publishers do you accept?
We check for quality to make sure that all of our publishers are “non-spammy.” You must comply with CAN-SPAM laws and make it clear and easy for your readers to unsubscribe. If you pass that test, we accept most genres of publishers (aside from topics on illegal activities, drugs, weapons, and pornography). Publishers can include email newsletters, transactional emails, etc.
Who can search for my newsletter in the directory?
Your newsletter can be searched for by other publishers, potential subscribers, and/or advertisers
Ok, I’ll apply to try it. Is there a commitment?
No. You can start and stop anytime you’d like. There are no contracts.
Ok, but do I have to accept all ad proposals? I want to make sure that I have full control.
You can accept/reject ad proposals as you please.
What kind of ad formats are available?
If you are selling your own ads directly, then you can choose any format you like. The cost-per-click (CPC) ads available to you are 468x60px banner ads. There are also cost-per-click (CPC) text ads available to MailChimp and API publishers.
Ok, if I run your cost-per-click (CPC) ads, how do I get paid?
We pay via PayPal. In order to get paid, you must submit your PayPal address to us and fill out a W9 form (if you are in the US) or a W-8BEN form if you are outside the US. We need this information for our tax purposes. After that, we pay every month provided that you have earned over $50. If you have not, then we will carry this amount to the next month. We pay before the 15th of each month for payments earned from the preceding month. For example, if you earn $20 in April, $30 in May, then you'll be paid $50 before June 15th.
